This was an MNQ long setup built around multiple confluences rather than taking an entry from a single signal.
1. Daily BISI
The higher timeframe showed a bullish imbalance area, giving the setup a bullish context.
2. H1 Order Block
Price retraced into the H1 Order Block, giving me a defined area where I wanted to look for a long.
3. SMT
SMT provided additional confirmation around the low and strengthened the bullish idea.
4. BSL Target
The buy-side liquidity above the market gave me a clear objective for the trade.
Instrument: MNQ
Timeframe: 5M
Direction: Long
Entry: ~31,392.50
Stop Loss: 31,371.25
Target: ~31,454.50
Risk: 21.75 points
Reward: 62 points
Risk/Reward: 2.85R
The important part was waiting for price to reach the planned area and then executing with defined risk.
The trade wasn't based on simply seeing an Order Block.
The setup came from the combination of:
Daily BISI + H1 OB + SMT + BSL
When the confluences align, the goal isn't to predict what happens next. It's to define the setup, control the risk, and execute the plan.
